Keep right to take the MacDade Blvd. Take I-476 South to Exit 1, MacDade Blvd. Turn right onto Walnut Street, and right again onto E 14th St.įollow the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 333, I-476. into the main entrance of the university.įrom Philadelphia and Philadelphia Airport Go to first traffic light and turn right onto E 14th St. Bear right onto Providence Avenue at the fork on other side of bridge. At first traffic light, turn left onto Edgmont Avenue and go over the bridge.
Coming off the bridge, follow signs for I-95 North and Philadelphia. Proceed on Route 322 West across the Commodore Barry Bridge. Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 2. Immediately surrounding our campus are the cities of Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Westwood Village, and Brentwood. Los Angeles is an enormous, sprawling city located in southern California, on the west coast of the United States. The most common neighborhoods where graduate students live are Westwood, Culver City, West LA (Palms, Mar Vista, Rancho Park, Westchester, etc.), Mid-City, Santa Monica, Venice, Silverlake, Downtown LA, and of course on-campus. We’re just north of a neighborhood called Westwood Village, where students go to shop, to dine out, take in a movie at the local theater, or drop by the Hammer Museum for a lunchtime art talk. UCLA’s 419-acre campus sits at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, just five miles from the Pacific Ocean.
